Chez Bagou is a new wave of 'Bistronomie' style restaurant; a twist between a classic French bistro and modern cuisine. The elegant bistro is favoured by loyal customers from the area, who also navigated the restaurant through Melbourne’s tough lockdown period.
Front man and Owner, Aurelien Bagou was born on the outskirts of Paris and grew up in the Normandy countryside. Before making Melbourne home 12 years ago, classically trained Aurelien worked in Michelin starred restaurants across France including Alain Ducasse's Le Louis XV in Monaco and Chez Bruno in Provence.
Aurelien is able to deliver a superior dining experience thanks to the support of an ever-delightful team, who they are looking forward to finally welcoming back.
